Claire Forlani gets flirty in the romantic comedy Boys and Girls. Forlani will replace Anna Friel, opposite Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jason Biggs in the Dimension Films feature about close friends who fall in love. Robert Iscove (She's All That) will direct. Shooting is slated to start Friday in San Francisco.

Claire Forlani's parents moved to San Francisco in 1993, in order to allow for wider casting opportunities in Hollywood films. Subsequently, Forlani was cast in the television mini-series J.F.K.: Reckless Youth and the film Police Academy: Mission to Moscow.

Raised by her British mother and Italian father, Forlani attended the Arts Education School in Britain from the ages of eleven to seventeen, studying dance and drama. When she graduated, she pursued her acting career in England, until 1993, when she moved with her parents to San Francisco.
