Students may check out books in general circulation (not on reserve) for three weeks. Faculty and staff may check out books for 120 days. Community users with a library courtesy card may check-out circulating materials for three weeks. Circulating books may be renewed if there are no holds or recalls. An ID card is needed for renewals and books may be renewed by telephone.

Lowcountry Newspapers, publishers of The Island Packet and Beaufort Gazette in Southern SC (Hilton Head area), is seeking a circulation manager to oversee the home delivery staff for both newspapers. This position reports to the Circulation Director and requires 5 years of direct management experience and a proven track record of growing circulation.

The circulation desk is the main desk seen when entering or exiting the library. The circulation staff provide valuable services to all users of the library all times the library is open. Staff Information.

All UTB/TSC student, faculty and/or staff members must show their current UTB/TSC STING CARD in order to check out a study room key from the Circulation & Reserves Desk. These rooms are not available for use by the general public.

If an item is not checked out and not on the shelf, after checking two separate days, you can place a "search" for the item at the Circulation Desk. Library staff will search the collections regularly for the item.
