Search CUNY+ for the title(s) you need, --available at CUNY+ terminals-- then bring the book to the Circulation desk located near the front entrance of the library. Titles you want to borrow are charged out from there.

The reserve Division is located at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Required readings for a particular course are placed on reserve for limited circulation at the request of the instructor. Computer lists of all reserve materials can be accessed through CUNY+. Selected textbooks for current courses offered at Lehman are ... available on reserve.

The circulation desk, located on your left as you enter the library, provides numerous services to library users both within the Hotel School and the greater Cornell University community. These services include: loans of books and videos, scheduling of library conference rooms, and an initial point of contact for directional information about the library and the school. In addition, the Nestlé Library lends laptop computers on short-term loan.

If a book or other item is not on the shelf, Circulation staff will trace it and then hold it for you when it is found. Ask for search cards at the Circulation Desk check-out station.

Lost or stolen library cards should be reported immediately to the Circulation Desk. The library card holder has the responsibility to prevent use by anyone other than the holder. Once the loss or theft of the library card is reported to the Circulation Desk, the library card will be immediately blocked against further use. A new card will need to be issued.

All materials must be checked out at the Circulation Desk before leaving the library. The library is equipped with an automated circulation system. All patrons must have a valid University of Rochester ID card to borrow materials. Once barcoded by Library staff, this card becomes your library card and must be presented for every transaction. You are responsible for all items charged to your card; do not allow anyone else to use it.
