Cingular customers have the ability to view the friend list of any MySpace profile. The Friend list contains a text listing of the friends, which when selected would show the profile picture along with a link to that user’s MySpace page and the ability to add the friend to your contact list for quick bookmarking.

Between July 1 and September 24, 'Raising the Bar' fans can submit images that bring to life the five signal bars wherever and whenever they see them, by sending a picture message from their Cingular Wireless phone. Each submission enters each photo into the photo contest for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $50,000 or a weekly First Prize of $500. Submissions can be sent via Multimedia Message (MMS) to 52277-86946 (5 bars to win). Additionally, each submission automatically enters each customer into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $50 cash prize.

Florida Power & Light Company (FP&L) is among the Cingular customers that have already begun rolling out the Wireless WAN Connectivity Service. FP&L, which serves more than 4.2 million customer accounts in Florida, is deploying the service at more than 1,000 company facilities located throughout the state. MySpace Mobile allows Cingular customers to post new blog entries and make comments to other users’ blogs or MySpace profile pages. To post a blog or comment, Cingular customers need simply view the appropriate section and click “Post” to create the entry. Users can save their work at any time, and any information entered will update both the mobile client and the online MySpace profile page.

Callers will begin to hear the AT&T name mentioned on Cingular voice greetings in the coming weeks. Merger-transition messages will be placed on envelopes with customer billing starting in the coming weeks, and communications and the AT&T logo will begin to appear on customer bills starting in the coming months. Customers should watch the "remit to" line for when to make checks out to AT&T; those customers who pay their bills electronically or via credit card deduction will be notified as procedures change.

Chris exchanged his messed up Blackjack with Cingular (now the new AT&T) under warranty replacement. Now Cingular (now the new AT&T) can't find the phone that he sent back and keeps trying to bill him $349.99 for it. Repeated calls to customer service are unsuccessful and provide contradictory information. more
