Chuck Norris is the star of more than 20 films and the long-running TV series "Walker, Texas Ranger." His book, "Against All Odds," tells the inspirational story of how he overcame abject poverty from childhood, the effects of his father's alcoholism and desertion of the family, and his own shyness and lack of strength and ability early in his life. Chuck Norris was fired and arrested from his job at a Dallas Texas school after a video showed him smelling the football players jock straps. He was taken into custody oddly enough by a real Texas Ranger named Walker.

Three seasons of dispensing his own brand of roundhouse-kicking justice have not slowed Texas Ranger Cordell Walker (Chuck Norris). As an appreciative observer remarks at one point during season 3, "You still have all the moves, Walker." Whether going undercover as a cocaine dealer in Miami or "delivering a little pain" against white supremacists, Russian mobsters, street gangs, IRA terrorists, heroin smugglers, or vengeful ex-convicts, Walker is "a damn one-man army" who "walks the walk and talks the talk." No one delivers Chuck-isms such as, "The bigger they are, the harder they hit" like Norris. Walker, Texas Ranger's third season is a bit edgier than seasons past. The language is a tad cruder and the action more graphic.

Chuck thinks his most rewarding accomplishment was the creation of his Kick-Start Foundation. With the help of President George Bush, Chuck implemented a program teaching the martial arts to 150 high-risk children at M C Williams Middle School in Houston, Texas, as part of the school curriculum. The program was so successful in helping these kids raise their self-esteem and instilling discipline and respect, as well as getting them out of gangs, that the program is now in 30 schools with over 4,200 young boys and girls actively participating.

After the whole Walker Texas Ranger show, many people started jokes about how Chuck is "awesome". They started with these jokes after he made the roundhouse kick famous. Most of the jokes are linked to that, saying things like "Chuck Norris is the only man who can roundhouse kick you in the back of the face", and "On the set of Walker Texas Ranger, Chuck somehow missed the persons face and accidentally kicked down a building."

The original theme song to the Transformers was actually “Chuck Norris–more than meets the eye, Chuck Norris–robot in disguise,” and starred Chuck Norris as a Texas Ranger who defended the earth from drug-dealing Decepticons and could turn into a pick-up. This was far too much awesome for a single show... so it was divided.
