When Christy Romano entered the world, these stories made the front page of the nation's newspapers: On the 5th, the Supreme Court rules that cities can display nativity scenes as part of their Christmas display. The court split 5-4 on the ruling. The U.S. Senate has an equally hard time debating whether to allow silent or vocal prayer in the country's public schools. Eventually, the senators elect to table the decision, delaying a vote for later in the session. American bankers agree to loan Argentina another $500 million so the country will not default on its loans.

Romano is a member of the Barnard College of Columbia University class of 2006, majoring in English and international relations. She is a sister of Sigma Delta Tau sorority. Milford Mayor James Richetelli Jr. named February 22, 2005 as Christy Carlson Romano Day, and she received the "Connecticut's Finest Citizen Award". Jackie Dorsey (Christy Carlson Romano) is a champion figure skater with her eyes set on the Olympics until something gives her dreams the slip. Now her last shot at glory is to skate in doubles competition, but finding a partner on short notice is a little dicey. Then in glides Alex Harrison (Ross Thomas), a bad boy professional inline skater who’s been ousted from his tour. Jackie and Alex share a past and that’s about the only thing they have in common… except they both need a second chance. Romano was born in Milford, Connecticut to Sharon Carlson and Anthony Romano, and attended Orange Ave Elementary School. She has two older sisters and one older brother. Romano moved to Atlanta, Georgia as a child, and landed her first acting job at the Atlanta production of Annie. She was born in 1984 march 20.
