LYCOS RETRIEVER
Christmas Tree
built 648 days ago
The Christmas Tree is a sort of fungus that manifests in December in certain Christian-shaped countries. These trees are considered a dangerous parasite. When discovered in one's home, they must be removed as quickly as possible, but removal is not easy. First the tree must be decorated with Christmas themed decorations to destroy the roots. It must be given water for a few weeks so as to weaken its hold on the decorations. Boxes of "gifts" will appear under the christmas tree.

In 2005 Upside-Down Christmas Trees became popular. They were originally sold as decorations for merchants that allowed customers to get closer to ornaments being sold. Customers then wanted to replicate the inverted tree. Retailers ... claimed that the trees were popular because they allowed larger presents to be placed beneath the trees. Upside-down Christmas trees come in three varieties: stand-alone, ceiling, and wall. The stand-alone trees have a flat base.

For the first time this year, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree was cut with a handheld saw this year to reduce energy use. Tishman Speyer is replanting/re-greening the land where the tree came from and recycling all appropriate materials used during the cutting event. Upon completion of the holiday season, the tree will be milled and treated and made into lumber to be used by Habitat for Humanity.
