From being dirty and crass, she glammed up and turned mature in 2004 when she helped revive the 1940s Hollywood glamour look in fashion. The mature and glamorous look is the image she carries up to this date.

In between albums, Christina completely changed her image. She began "doing her own thing," adding a lot more hip hop and a lot less pop. Her hairstyle changed, and she even managed to change her voice to sound more like a rapper.
