After a team of local producers discovered him at his father's gas station, they arranged an audition with Chris’ future manager, Tina Davis. Though he was only 15 when a deal was inked with Jive Records, Brown became a media and industry darling in no time. On his debut, Chris paired up with some of pop's and hip-hop’s biggest producers, including Scott Storch, Dre, Vidal, Bryan Cox, and Jermaine Dupri. Chris Brown has also garnered nominations and awards from the NAACP Image Awards, the American Music Awards and the Grammys.
