Around 2am, Chloe returned to work and when Milo received Marilyn's transcript, Chloe requested to handle the matter. Chloe approached Marilyn and told her about the situation with Jack. When Marilyn asked if she could see him, Chloe brought her to Marilyn's holding cell and left them alone. While Morris looked through satellite at Bloomfield, the location Audrey gave to CTU, he asked for Chloe to give him support. At first Chloe ignored him, but she then obnoxiously helped him. Chloe then began to feel guilty for her treatment towards him.

When Morris starts to make more mistakes that she needs to cover up, Chloe phones his AA sponsor. She finds out that the woman hasn’t seen Morris in years. Chloe angrily confronts Morris, who explains that he switched sponsors and did make the call to his new sponsor. Chloe apologizes, but Morris dumps out the bottle of whiskey he was hiding from her.

At the end of the day, Chloe began to pack up to go home for the day when she was approached by Bill Buchanan. Bill told her that she did a great job that day, and Chloe told Bill the same. Bill then told Chloe that he found something from Edgar's possessions, and thought she should have it. Bill walked away, as Chloe was holding a picture that was folded up. She unfolded it to reveal a picture of Edgar and herself smiling, from when they first worked together. As the day's toll finally began to catch up with her, Chloe began to shed a tear before her ex-husband Morris approached her to comfort her. Morris asked Chloe if she would like to talk about it. Chloe says yes, and the two walked out of CTU to spend some time together.

Later, Chloe confronts Morris over his decision to break up. Morris tells Chloe that he ended their relationship because he felt that neither of them would be able to move past the fact that he had armed the nuclear weapons. Soon afterwards, CTU became under attack and the entire staff, including Chloe, was taken hostage. Eventually Nadia, Jack, and Morris attacked the men holding them hostage and Chloe commended Nadia on her bravery. While at work, Chloe fainted, near where Morris was working, and was then taken to the medical department. It was revealed near the end of the final episode that she is pregnant.

When Chloe started to make mistakes due to her worry over Morris, Milo took over her post. When Darren McCarthy's body was found, Milo tried to back trace a call made on McCarthy's phone. When Milo was unable to successfully back trace it, Chloe stepped in and managed to find Fayed's location.

Chloe finds it hard working with Morris, and pleads that she didn’t mean to make a joke about his helping the terrorists. Yet Morris explains that isn’t the reason why he broke up with her. He is ashamed of his cowardice. Chloe is among the hostages when the Chinese raid CTU.
