Chloe is the third longest running character on the series, with 88 episodes to date (as of the end of Day 6). She is third only to Jack Bauer (who has appeared in every episode since Day 1) and Tony Almeida (who appeared in 95 episodes between Day 1 and Day 5).

Chloe is the only person who had continual contact with Jack since he faked his death. Chloe is ... the only one involved in the plot to fake his death to survive from murder attempts committed by unknown parties (later discovered to be President Charles Logan and Jack's brother, Graem Bauer), narrowly escaping a car bomb and a subsequent attack by the terrorists who planted the bomb.

Buchanan held a meeting with all CTU personnel, when Chloe's phone began to ring. It was Jack and Chloe congratulated him on all that he had accomplished. Jack revealed that Audrey was still alive and Chloe told him she wasn't. Jack told her that the Chinese faked her death and Cheng Zhi used Audrey as a bargaining chip. Cheng would let Audrey go if he received a circuit board from one of the nukes. The component would give China access to technology that Russia had concealed from them in years.

Chloe is able to escape and continues to aid Jack from a nearby hotel. Combined with Hayes, she works to help Jack locate the passenger on a private plane in possession of the audio tape implicating Logan in Palmer's death. Eventually she confirms that it is the co-pilot who has the tape. Hayes and Buchanan bring Chloe back to CTU shortly thereafter to help Jack make an emergency landing, because Logan has ordered an F18 to shoot down the plane. Chloe is able to locate a 4000 ft. strip on a Los Angeles Highway to use for a landing. Jack eventually lands safely and escapes from Logan's marine force with the help of Curtis Manning.

Chloe has reunited with her ex Morris and she asks him to try to be nicer to his CTU superior, Milo. Chloe is horrified when she finds out that Jack is being given up to Fayed. Morris gets access to a non-government satellite so that she can track Jack, but when Fayed discovers he is being watched he threatens to cancel the deal with the Americans. Chloe is ordered by Nadia and Buchanan to shut down this outside feed. Morris consoles Chloe, who is convinced that Jack is dead.

Thanks to Chloe's womanly graces, Young and Jacksons grew into one of Australia's most famous pubs. It still stands erect on the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets in the heart of Melbourne, opposite Flinders Street Train Station and not far from St Paul's Cathedral.
