Cheating can happen in a lot of different ways. Jeff is doing it by sneaking answers to a test, but it's ... cheating to break the rules of a game or contest or to pretend something is yours when it isn't. When people cheat, it's not fair to other people, like the kids who studied for the test or who were the true winners of a game or contest.

The same kind of cheating takes place between unmarried couples .... For instance, boyfriends are known to cheat their girlfriends and vice-versa. However, a majority of such cases go unreported since they are not bound by marriage or the law. Besides, cheating between unmarried couples does not have legal binding. Such cases do not stand the test of law since their is absence of a clearly defined relationship. However, cheating within unmarried couples can result in a lot of emotional drain.

You can get better grades by cheating. But is it worth it? You may be under pressure to get good grades in school that causes you to consider cheating on your homework and tests. If you cheat but are lucky enough not to get caught, you may possible get the good grades you seek. But getting caught cheating may ... result in being expelled. Plus there are the long-term consequences of not learning and moral decline.

While tests will be graded, it is important to note that cheating WILL be tolerated. The Calgary test scores (for Denverites wishing to visit Calgary) will be compiled and then compared to the scores of a sixth grade class at Red Rocks Elementary school to determine how much Denver really knows about its newest non-stop Frontier destination. Results of the test comparison will be announced the day of the inaugural flight on May 25.

More authentic assessment ... minimizes cheating. An assessment is authentic if it evaluates performance in as close to a real world context as possible. Granted, this is easier to do in the practical or performing arts than it is in traditional academic subjects. But academic tests can be more authentic too.
