A city of Charlie Browns... Snoopy and Charlie Brown are on their way across the country. The Charles Schulz characters once graced a wall of a Colorado Springs home. The wall is now on its way to a museum in Santa Rosa, California. It's all thanks to a local couple, whose dream, like Schulz, is to make people smile.

[D]espite all his pie-faced insecurities, Charlie Brown will be more solid than his dancing beagle. Several Snoopy statues were damaged last year when kids climbed on tails and ears or when vandals struck.
YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN opened on March 7, 1967 and played for 1,597 performances in New York at the theatre 80 St. Marks with Gary Burghoff in the title role. This version was revived briefly on Broadway in 1971 and played for 32 performances at the John Golden Theatre. A new revival version (YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN [REVISED]) was presented on Broadway in 1999 and played for 149 performances at the Ambassador Theatre with award-winning performances by Roger Bart and Kristin Chenoweth as Snoopy and Sally.
The creator of the internationally beloved "Peanuts(R)" comic strip, Charles Schulz debuted Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the gang in 1965 in seven U.S. newspapers. The strip was one of the most popular and influential in the history of the medium, and by Schulz' retirement in 1999, Peanuts was in more than 2,600 newspapers in 75 countries worldwide. 17,897 strips were published in all, boasting a readership of 355 million.
