The Chamizal National Memorial facilities and grounds are staffed, operated, and protected by National Park Service employees -- rangers, theater technicians, guards, maintainance crews, and administrative specialists. This National Memorial is a unit of the national park system, along with Yellowstone, Statue of Liberty, Mt. Rushmore, Yosemite and more than 360 other parks.

El Paso vocalist Malena Cano ... known as “La Perla” will be performing her annual concert at the Chamizal National Memorial Theater on Sunday, March 18 at 4 pm. Cano has been performing at the Chamizal every year in March since 1993 but this year will be extremely special since she will be dedicating her performance to her longtime friend and artistic director Magda Garcia. Garcia and Cano had been working together for over 20 years until about two years ago when Garcia was diagnosed with leukemia.

Ballet Folklorico Tierra del Sol — The group’s 10th annual gala event is at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday June 1-3, at the Chamizal National Memorial Theater. The group will perform dances from various regions of Mexico and South America. Ticket information: 920-3110.
