Chad Chaffin (born July 20, 1968 in Smyrna, Tennessee) is a rookie NASCAR driver. He has become one of the drivers for the #49 BAM Racing Dodge along with Larry Foyt, replacing Mike Bliss after his resignation. Chaffin was a two time track champion at the historic Nashville Speedway USA, where he met his friend the late Andy Kirby.
Chaffin Holds on for Top 15 Finish at Nashville After a hard-hitting race last weekend at Indianapolis, Chad Chaffin came into Nashville determined to have a successful weekend. Kicking a good weekend off he placed in the top 20, qualifying with a 16th place starting position. It was evident that Chad's determination paid off throughout the beginning of race as he proved that he could consistently run with the front of the pack. Early in the race, Chad and the Harris Trucking Motorsports team realized they had a dominant truck on long runs... the late caution flags kept Chad from finishing in the top 10.
