Elbit Medical Imaging Ltd. (Nasdaq: EMITF) ("EMI") announced today that InSightec - Image Guided Treatment Ltd. ("InSightec") has received CE-Marking Certification for the ExAblate 2000(TM) Focused Ultrasound Therapy Device for the treatment of uterine fibroids. The regulatory approval allows the commercial use of the device in European Union countries, as well as Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Additional countries recognize the CE-Marking as the sole prerequisite for local regulatory approval.
