1. Aerosmith -- New York
   Aerosmith is slated to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Music Awards on January 8th. They will perform their new single Jaded. The awards will air on January 9 on ABC.

3. Affiliate Programs -- Internet Affiliate Programs
   Affiliate Programs are particularly useful for non-profit organizations that don't employ sufficient staff with advanced internet-marketing skills or for those non-profits that want to be guaranteed a fixed return on their campaign-advertising investment. If you have access to campaign funding, but few staff or volunteers with the appropriate skills, an Affiliate Program may be your only path to enormous website traffic.
4. German Music -- Music Cd
   German music publishers have won their dispute with German record labels concerning the mechanical royalty rate to be paid to authors. An arbitration tribunal ruled last month that the mechanical rate will remain at 9.009 percent of the published price per dealer, or PPD. The rate has been in effect since 1997. The tribunal further ruled that a minimum royalty rate of 0.61 euros must be paid to publishers for any album on CD despite actual retail price. For albums containing more than 20 songs, such as hit compilations, a higher rate must be paid on a pro-rata basis. Only albums on CD are affected by the ruling.
5. Marilyn Manson -- Miscellaneous
   Manson and Von Teese celebrated their nuptials with a star-studded wedding ceremony in Ireland in December of 2005. Keanu Reeves, Lisa Maria Presley and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne were among the guests.
6. Monster Magnet

   Columbia House Company is the leading club-based, direct-to-consumer marketer of music and movies in North America, conducting its mail-order business in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Columbia House boasts approximately 8.5 million members who can choose from approximately 9,000 music selections and 5,000 DVD titles. The company operates three clubs: The Music Club, The DVD Club, and Video Library. The company ... distributes video games through its music and DVD clubs. The Blackstone Group L.P., a New York-based investment firm, owns 85 percent of Columbia House, with the balance split between Sony Corporation and Time Warner Inc.
8. Human -- Human Resource
   The Division of Human Resources is in the process of scanning all personnel files to create an electronic (imaged) file. As part of this effort, most of the HR forms have been redesigned to include a barcode at the top of each form. 9. Johnnie Johnson -- Roll Hall
   Johnnie Johnson's rolling, barrelling licks are as enticing as ever on this reissued Evidence CD, but there are some other things that are not so grand. These include barely tolerable vocalists Barbara Carr and Stacy Johnson, whose enthusiasm is commendable, but whose vocals often get in the way. Johnson's covers of Fats Washington's "O.J. Blues" and "Black Nights" are great, as are his versions of "Honky Tonk" and "See See Rider." But he falters on "Baby, What You Want Me To," in part because he does not convey either the original's loping stride or laconic quality, and ... because it is not the kind of peppy arrangement and backbeat suited to his style. 10. Depeche Mode
    Instrumental interludes have always been a big part of the Depeche Mode experience, and Color Theory presents Depeche Mode is no exception. Since this is a unique set of songs, it wouldn't make sense to recycle interludes from past DM albums. Instead, two new interludes were composed and recorded specifically for this project, serving to bind the songs together into a unified whole.
