1. Rats -- Mice
   Rats and mice in the wild can be one of the worst pests for mankind, notwithstanding their indispensable part within the ecosystem. Domestic rats and mice, on the other hand, contribute a great deal to the advancement of research for the benefit of man. Domestic rats and mice are not the same as their wild counterparts, having been domesticated for over 100 years. Rats and mice AS PETS suffer from bad “press” with much prejudice and misunderstanding directed toward them.
2. Field Mice
   The Field Mice were contemporaries of the shoegazer scene of the late 80s/early 90s, and the zeitgeist shows; though there isn't much in the way of guitar feedback and MBV-esque noise. It's a more subtle, plaintive affair, perhaps reminiscent of Soul Whirling Somewhere (or, more probably, vice versa). The double CD ... comes with a thick booklet giving a history of the band, written by an ex-Sarah staffer (and ex-gf of one of the original band members), and capturing the UK indie scene of the time.
3. Alley Cat
   The Alley Cat, Charlotte NC is street smart rock and roll club that knows its way around. The Alley Cat serves up live music and DJs the way The Penguin Grill serves up grub – hot and fast. This cat likes his music loud, his drinks stiff, his friends a little crazy and his pickles fried. Think the uptown ought to be a little more downtown? Rollup your sleeves, grab a beer on tap and forget about the velvet ropes.
4. Jigsaw Puzzles -- Picture

5. Cowpox
   Cowpox was the original vaccine of sorts for smallpox. After infection with the disease, the body (usually) gains the ability of recognizing the similar smallpox virus from its antigens and so is able to fight the smallpox disease much more efficiently. The vaccinia virus now used for smallpox vaccination is sufficiently different from the cowpox virus found in the wild as to be considered a separate virus. [3]
6. Dissection -- Animals
   Dissection is the practice of cutting into and studying animals. Every year, 5.7 million animals are used in secondary and college science classes. Each animal sliced open and discarded represents not only a life lost, but ... just a small part of a trail of animal abuse and environmental havoc.
7. Bud Abbott -- Abbott Costello
   Abbott and Costello faced personal demons at times. Both were inveterate gamblers, and had serious health problems. Abbott suffered from epilepsy and turned to alcohol for pain management; Costello had occasional, near-fatal bouts with rheumatic fever. On the night Costello returned to radio after a one year layoff due to his illness, his infant son died in an accidental drowning at home. Costello was never the same man after that.
8. Maus -- Holocaust
   Maus is an outstanding graphic novel. It is about mice that are living through the Holocaust and what they had to do to survive through it, families were separated and mice died. The Nazis (the cats) made it very difficult for them because they were cruel and everywhere you went they were there. Vladek Speigelman is interviewing his father, a survivor of the Holocaust, for his comic book. Vladek wanted to draw his father’s story. When his farther is telling Vladek the story he gets emotional from the sad and horrid past.
9. Guinea Pigs -- Rodents
   Guinea pigs are stocky, short-legged, short-eared and tailless rodents. There are 3 main coat types: short, rough or rosetted, and long. They have 3 digits on their hind feet and four on their forefeet.
10. Christmas Island -- Species
    The Christmas Island red crab is by far the most obvious of the 14 species of land crabs found on Christmas Island. It is estimated that 120 million of these bright red land crabs live in their preferred shady sites all over the island.
