According to sources, Cassidy, Full Surface A&R representative, Grady Spivey, and two unidentified passengers were in an SUV when it was struck by a rental moving truck. Apparently the driver lost control, causing the truck to swirve into oncoming traffic, hitting Cassidy's side of the SUV. right Of all of the passengers, Cassidy, 24, was the only passenger to sustain injuries with a fractured skull and numerous broken bones on the left side of his face. Cassidy and his team were reportedly traveling to New York for a recording session. The Philly-bred rapper, who was released from prison earlier this year after serving a term on a conviction of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault, has plans on dropping an album soon. His single, "It Is What It Is," is on heavy rotation on radio stations internationally.

Cassidy is a member of Team Rocket. Just before she joined, she met Jessie and from that meeting, a huge rivalry started. When she joined, she was paired up with Butch and given a Raticate as their partner. More successful than their rivals Jessie & James, Butch & Cassidy are given the more high profile jobs for Team Rocket including several Breeding Center scams and many other tasks. Cassidy is fairly vain and arrogant, which constantly annoys Jessie, but managed to come up with successful scams...unless Ash & Co, end up involved. For a short time, she was teamed up with James.

Cassidy had several prestigious reserves to majors as a puppy. She was 1st place in the 6 to 9 month puppy class two days of the Standard Schnauzer National Specialty weekend in August 1998 in Detroit, Michigan. Cassidy ... took second place in sweepstakes the day of the National! At the Standard Schnauzer Club of Southern California Regional Specialty in July 1999, she was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex completing her championship in style. This means that the judge thought that there was only one Standard Schnauzer better than her (wrong thinking). This is an extremely prestigious win considering her mommy is a novice owner- handler!!!

When Jesse apparently dies after the events of War In The Sun (issues #34-40), Tulip and Cassidy flee together. Tulip, overcome with grief, turns to drugs and alcohol. Cassidy struggles with his sexual desires for Tulip and his appreciation that she was in no condition to think clearly, but eventually succumbs to his lust for Tulip. He supplies her with alcohol and drugs for months, convincing himself that this is a consensual relationship. In a moment of clarity Tulip realizes what Cassidy has done and shoots him in the chest, blowing him through a door and into the sunlight. Cassidy survives by crawling under a truck.
