NEW YORK, March 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) is proud to announce a new partnership with Cartoon Network. The Junior Leagues' Kids in the Kitchen childhood obesity and nutrition education initiative and Cartoon Network's Get Animated pro-social, pro-lifestyle movement aim to teach kids the importance of fitness and nutrition. Together, AJLI and Cartoon Network will create a public service announcement featuring Cartoon Network's 'Camp Lazlo' characters, a 'Camp Lazlo' nutrition and exercise game for the Junior Leagues' Kids in the Kitchen website and a 'Camp Lazlo' toolkit for each participating Junior League. Both the new PSA and the interactive online game will launch on Monday, March 5, 2007, in recognition of National Nutrition Month.

Japanese animated series .hack//SIGN joined Cartoon Network's Saturday lineup of action/adventure programming starting Saturday, February 1 at 3 p.m. (ET, PT). .hack//SIGN, which was spawned by some of the most creative minds in animé, will move to Saturday night at 12 midnight starting Saturday, March 2. DRAGON BALL animated series didn't make it on the air at The CARTOON NETWORK on Monday as originally scheduled. While the official DB site reports the young adventures of the characters will begin on July 23rd, a spokesperson for the network says they are currently planning for a late August launch.
