Carmen Electra Carmen Electra grew up near Cincinnati, Ohio, in the town of White Oak and got her first boost when a scout for Prince spotted her fronting for a rap group in Los Angeles. She released a self-titled album for Prince's Paisley Park label in 1992. She then toured Europe as Prince's opening act on his 1992 Diamonds and Pearls Tour.

Carmen Electra Photo Born Tara Leigh Patrick, Carmen Electra grew up near White Oak, Ohio, and attended Princeton High School, followed by the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Electra made the journey to L.A. in 1991 to pursue a singing career. A scout for "the artist formerly known as Prince" wanted her to audition for an all-girl rap group. She soon signed with Prince's Paisley Park label and released a self-titled album in 1992, which was a flop.

Carmen Electra is quitely recording a follow-up album to her early '90s self titled R&B bomb. According to the NY Post Carmen threw her new CD to the DJ at a Diesal party last weekend. And people didn't hate it! You know what else people don't hate? These pictures of Carmen stripping at the beach.
Carmen Electra may having been hanging around Joss Stone a little bit too much. Carmen is dating Korn’s newest guitarist, Rob Patterson, who is helping produce the new album Carmen is recording. Carmen recorded another solo album in the early nineties, which coincidentally was a flop.
