Carlos Santana perfume is a rather new fragrance that was introduced alongside the male version in 2005. This scent is as unique and seductive as Santana’s guitar riffs, possessing a blend of pear, plum, freesia, floral notes, chocolate, sandalwood, and musk. This fragrance is sensual and filled with desire. Carlos Santana’s fragrance seems to perform as well as his music, making it a must-have for the cool evenings when you need some heat.

Renowned musician and multi-Grammy winner Carlos Santana was a follower of Guru Sri Chinmoy for nine years (1972-1981). In a recent interview (Rolling Stone March 16, 2000) he discussed his time as a devotee within the group. His name while a member was "Devadip" ("the eye, the light of the lamp of God"). That name, given to him by Chinmoy--is inscribed on a guitar strap he still keeps at his home displayed as an apparent memento.

The son of an accomplished mariachi violinist, Carlos Santana was born in Autlan de Navarro, Mexico, in 1947. As a young violin prodigy, he performed with his father’s band on the streets of Tijuana and then switched to guitar after hearing blues and rock and roll on the radio. By the early Sixties, the Santana family had relocated to San Francisco. Carlos formed the first version of Santana in 1966. As the Santana Blues Band, they played the clubs and ballrooms of that city during the glory years of the Haight-Ashbury scene. By the time Santana took the stage at Woodstock in 1969, the group had settled into its classic lineup of Carlos Santana, Gregg Rolie, David Brown, Mike Carabello, Jose Chepito Areas, and Michael Shrieve (drums).

Carlos played the violin at an early age, occasionally performing with his father's mariachi orchestra. It was when his family moved to Tijuana several years later, that Santana became interested in the guitar. He became fascinated with Black American rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and blues music and soon was performing in bands in the Tijuana area.
