Carl Edwards: Tracks
built 649 days ago
Edwards took the lead for good on lap 187, passing Matt Kenseth, who had stayed out on the final pit stop of the day for track position. Fittingly, the Dover 200 for the NASCAR Busch Series ended under caution for a three-car pileup in turn one, the 11th yellow flag of the day.

Racing is something Edwards has been surrounded by ever since he was a child and watched his father Mike compete throughout the Midwest. Mike Edwards posted more than 200 feature wins at a variety of tracks during a four-decade stretch driving modifieds and midgets.

Everyone is so worked up over this, yet Carl didn't even hit him! You're acting like he beat him with a tire iron. Anyone who whines this much about a fake punch - which may or may not have been in jest - needs to spend next season in the pit area of their local dirt track.

The TMZ.com-worthy moment occurred when Edwards came up on Kenseth, who at the time was doing an interview on camera with Speed TV. Edwards wanted to talk to Kenseth about what happened on the track. With the camera on, Edwards shoved Kenseth and looked like he was going to slug him.
