Carisoprodol
built 642 days ago
Doctors should not prescribe Carisoprodol for anyone with acute intermittent porphyria. Carisoprodol may be habit forming since it contains codeine, so those with alcohol or drug addictions must be closely monitored. Your doctor needs to know if you have kidney disease, an ulcer in your stomach or intestines, urinary retention, an enlarged prostate, hypothyroidism, a bleeding or blood-clotting disorder, a head injury, liver disease, or Addison's disease. He or she may require extra monitoring or may prescribe a lower dose. Women who are breastfeeding or who are pregnant need to consult with their doctor before using Carisoprodol and aspirin at the same time. Carisoprodol is not for use by anyone under twelve.
