It appeared as though Candice Michelle was tight with Torrie. After the 2005 Draft Lottery, Candice michelle was traded to SmackDown. But General Manager Theodore Long deemed her too hot for network TV, so candice michelle was traded back to RAW. It was here that candice quickly aligned herself with Torrie Wilson and Victoria. The trio of Divas began terrorizing the 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley almost immediately. They began giving the newcomer a hard time, punishing her for her victory in the contest.

In the summer of 2004, Candice Michelle auditioned to be a contestant on the RAW Diva Search of World Wrestling Entertainment. She was not chosen to be in the final ten, but did get hired by the company under the guise of a make up artist. She would then go on to compete in RAW in several of their Diva contests. These included limbo contests and lingerie fashion shows. This lasted until the end of 2004.

Candice Michelle came to WWE as a contestant in the 2004 Diva Search. Although she did not win, WWE hired her anyway. At first, Candice Michelle did not have much to do on the program. Over the next several years, she was trained as a wrestler and started doing more work. She was mainly used in unusual matches. For example, "Bra and panties matches" are matches where the winner is the person removes the other persons clothing leaving them wearing only their bra and panties.
