In 2003, Cameron Diaz was signed on for the film "Ready 2 Rumble," where she co-starred with David Arquette. Also known as the "WWE Movie," Ready 2 Rumble was a film about the tough and gritty world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment. In the film, Diaz portrayed "Stephanie McMahon," a bitchy, but really hot woman who's father, Vince, was the CEO and Chairman of the entire pro wrestling/sports entertainment industry. The film, which grossed $48 million at the box office in April 2003... starred David Arquette, Rose McGowan, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, LL Cool J and Jamie Foxx.

At age 16, Diaz began her career as a fashion model. Diaz signed with top modeling agency, Elite Model Management. After graduating high school, she went to work in Japan and met video director Carlo de la Torre. On her return to America, she moved in with him. For the next few years, Cameron's modeling took her around the world, working for contracts with major companies.

First was Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle where the girls sought to solve a series of murders, prime suspects being Demi Moore's ex-Angel and Crispin Glover's thoroughly strange and vicious Thin Man. Then would come Shrek 2, where her Princess Fiona introduces her beastly beau to the parents. A stunning financial success, Shrek 2 would rake in $436 million at the US box office and nearly $1 billion worldwide.

When the script to Feeling Minnesota came along Cameron Diaz didn't exactly jump at it, not reading the script until the last minute. However her lazy attitude worked and she landed the role, opposite Keanu Reeves, ahead of 70 other actresses. The role was another opportunity for Cameron Diaz to display her acting skills and prove to the world that she wasn't another model using just her body to make it in Hollywood.
