Martin St-Louis signed as a free agent with the Calgary Flames on February 18, 1998. That year, he made his NHL debut on October 9 in a match against the Sharks. He played 13 games and scored his first goal on October 20 against the Stars. In 1999-2000, Martin played 56 games at the NHL level and scored 18 points. On July 31, 2000, Martin signed as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Lightning. That season, he joined the NHL ranks full time and scored 18 goals and 40 points in 78 games.

She was at the top of the Calgary arena and was standing by Steven and Joe. She said, "I'm here with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith. Guys, what do you think of this crowd?"

The Chicago goaltender continued his mastery over the Flames on Thursday night, making 26 saves to lead the Blackhawks to a 3-1 win. Khabibulin improved to 19-5-2 career against the Flames with a 2.09 goals-against average.
