Caesar II was released in 1995 as the follow-up to 1993’s Caesar. It had an engaging way of blending the genres of city building with good old-fashioned fighting - a method that has been repeated many times since. You can read more on Wikipedia about the history of the Caesar game series.

Many of these Indian villages were located along an ancient Indian trail, part of which follows the ridgeline on the eastern side of the Caesar Creek valley. The trail was used by white settlers in the early 1800s, who named it Bullskin Trace. Later the trail became part of the Underground Railroad used by runaway slaves to reach safe houses run by area Quakers.

There is no doubt of Caesar's heterosexual affairs, many of them with married women. Probably Caesar looked upon these as trivial recreations. Yet he involved himself at least twice in escapades that might have wrecked his career.
