Mike "Cadaver" Rosser is a 22 year old level designer from England. He graduated last year from Churchill College, Cambridge University, with a 2:1 degree in geography. He has been mapping for about 5 years now, and has contributed to the Counter-Strike, Natural Selection and Front Line Force mods, and is joint-project leader of the Science & Industry mod; primarily as a level designer, although recently he has begun branching out into texturing. He has recently started work as a games designer at Elixir Studios, London, and he ... enjoys speaking in the third person, the pretentious git.
Life-long Earache devotees will remember the band Cadaver from the early 90's Necrosis imprint label - Cadaver Inc is the brainchild of original guitarist Anders Odden, now going by the handle of Neddo. In those groundbreaking early days Cadaver formed part of the fledgling Norwegian metal underground, and were the first band to get signed outside of their native country. Signed to Earache imprint Necrosis, the band issued two of the very first extreme metal albums from the soon to be legendary Norwegian scene - 'Hallucinating Anxiety' 1990 and '...In Pains' 1992, and subsequently gigged hard with the likes of Darkthrone, Mayhem, Death, Cradle of Filth and Dissection

The Cadaver serves such items as Ball Lightning Liqueur, light and dark beers, as well as being one of the few places in Folktown to serve the best Adlorst Vinifera vintages and the worst, cheapest rosés. Only The Cadaver has such a varied clientele with such a range of wealth. Food is supposedly served, but since few people have survived to recommend it, it is seldom ordered. It is a shame, really, that the nobs are not more adventurous in the direction of the food, as it would do the world a favour.

Cadaver dogs usually get years of training with their handlers, who are members of fire departments or are emergency medical technicians. Cadaver dogs must learn to do things that are different from their natural instincts. For example, most dogs run with their claws clenched in the earth. Cadaver dogs must learn not to disturb anything in their path, so they cannot clench their paws into the earth.

The Cadaver is built in the old style, even though it has been burned to the ground and rebuilt no less than six times. The earlier firings have been attributed to the Amphitheatre aristocracy and their minions. More recently, the damage has been blamed on the internal politics of the various Arbuckle Hill resistance groups. All this destruction is primarily because The Cadaver functions as the base of operations for the galant Houvers. It's four floors of creme walls and dark wood tower above its neighbouring hovels, its walls painted with resistance slogans.

Cadaver monuments can be seen in many English cathedrals and some parish churches. The earliest surviving one is in Lincoln Cathedral in Lincolnshire. It is to Bishop Richard Fleming who founded Lincoln College, Oxford and died in 1431. Canterbury Cathedral houses the well-known cadaver monument to Henry Chichele, Archbishop of Canterbury (1414 - 1443).
