He was raised by his mother in the Tempelhof neighborhood of Berlin. He went to Gymnasium school (which in Germany is high school for the gifted) but he dropped out before he could get his Abitur (which in Germany is the basic requirement to get into university). With the help of Tyanogy Glitchblade who became shogun of Bushido and Rebel Princess, Craven formed a basic alliance that the UoR members, now Bushi, could come to and forge into a truly united alliance. During this time, Bushido was protected and aided by EoTRS, who were devoted to the growth of the members of Bushido. With a little less than ten members, the government of Bushido began to form. The idea was to have two branches of government. One branch was under the Emperor while the other was under the Shogun. The Emperor would oversee recruitment and financial business through his advisors while the Shogun formed the Shogun-ate Administration which oversaw the military and internal affairs.

There is evidence of Bushido in Early literature to suggest that the stylings of Bushido have existed in the Japanese literature from the earliest recorded literary history of Japan. Kojiki is Japan's oldest extant book. Written in 712 AD, it contains passages about Yamato Takeru, the son of the Emperor Keiko. It provides an early indication of the values and literary self-image of the bushido ideal, including references to the use and admiration of the sword by Japanese warriors. Yamato Takeru may be considered the rough ideal of the Japanese warrior to come. He is sincere and loyal, slicing up his father's enemies "like melons", unbending and yet not unfeeling, as can be seen in his laments for lost wives and homeland, and in his willingness to combat the enemy alone.

Bushido was born to a Tunisian father, whom he first came to know at the age of 26, and a German mother, with whom he grew up in the Tempelhof district of former West Berlin. He left school early, the German Gymnasium, and accumulated a criminal record for drug possession and vandalism. A judge ordered him to attend vocational training as a painter or face a jail term. During this training he met future Aggro Berlin partner Fler.

Bushido's music is widely banned in Germany because his subject matter goes beyond what is often acceptable in Canada and the USA. On top of glorifying a gangster lifestyle and expressing disrespectful views about women, his music has strong nationalist views and is often racist and disrespectful towards minorities. Some of his lyrics can be seen as praising Adolf Hitler, and his views of German nationalism parallel views of the Nazi Party. This is strange considering he himself is half Tunisian.
