Bryan Singer recently conducted Entertainment Tonight’s Leonard Maltin on a visit to the set of the much talked about next Tom Cruise movie Valkyrie, and now footage from their broadcast has popped up online. The movie stars Cruise as an eye-patched Nazi who tries to kill Hitler. It’s based on history, so expect him to fail. As for the footage… it’s pretty exciting stuff. read more

Along with Tom DeSanto, Singer was asked to relaunch Battlestar Galactica as a TV series in 2001 by a joint deal with Studio USA and Fox Network. This continuation would have been substantially different from the one Ronald D. Moore and David Eick would go on to produce, and would have continued the Original Series.

Germany has barred Bryan Singer and company from shooting at a German military site because the film’s star Tom Cruise is a Scientologist. The German government does not recognize as a church.
