When Bruce went to see the car, what he found was a complete, rolling chassis with some minor damage to the driver's side door sill. Included with the chassis was a new, untrimmed two-piece plastic body shell. The original body had been stripped from the car and apparently discarded. Also included were a hood, trunk lid, headlights buckets, a roof, Corvair engine and transmission, doors and upper door panels, and lots of other goodies.

The guitar on the back cover, affectionately known as “The Stump”, was built by Bruce out of spare parts in his workshop. The body, complete with chainsaw marks, came from an old Camphor Laurel that was cut down to make way for some units. The neck started life on a Reliance acoustic and was found on the side of the road. The new fingerboard is Ironbark and the pickups are modified Ibanez Super 70s. How does it sound and play? Fantastic!
