Brown Sugar is all about healthy, hand-made traditional dishes with influences from the Mediterranean regions of Italy and France. The food is healthy and low tech, using fresh seasonal ingredients and treating them simply. As much as possible, everything served is homemade – relishes, jams, chilli oil, stocks and even lemonade. The wine and beer list is almost exclusively from Australia and New Zealand. It features organic and boutique wine-makers that are matched perfectly to Brown Sugar’s fare.

Brown Sugar is a 2002 romantic drama film, written by Michael Elliott and Rick Famuyiwa, and directed by Rick Famuyiwa. This movie stars Taye Diggs and Sanaa Lathan. This film is the story of a hip-hop record executive and a magazine editor (who have been friends since childhood) becoming more than friends despite the fact that they're both involved in other relationships. The story is based on the song, "I Used to Love H.E.R.," by Common, a story of how a relationship with hip hop connects to a relationship between a man and woman.

Brown Sugar was relieved to have a beautiful steady breeze this afternoon at their 1:00 Start. They gained good position and were sailing strong as they quickly moved out of sight toward the West End of Catalina. They'll take The Island to port then head for Honolulu. They looked REALLY GOOD out there. Let's hope the wind holds up!

Brown cane sugar is a natural combination of sugar and molasses, refined without any added colorings, flavorings or coatings. Formed using the traditional method of crystallization, each C&H brown sugar crystal is brown all the way through. If cane sugar is not specified on the label, the sugar may be beet sugar. What beet sugar makers call "brown sugar" starts out as white sugar crystals that are then sprayed with a brown coating. Often the center of the crystal remains white and the brown molasses coating can be rubbed off in your hands.
