britney spears Britney Spears' father Jamie, who has been coconservator of the star's estate with lawyer Andrew Wallet, on Thursday was given more responsibility for his daughter's affairs, and additional financial control was granted to Brit's brother, Bryan. In a hearing, Commissioner Reva Goetz granted the request for extension, citing signs that Britney's stayed out of trouble (read: dancing, shopping) since Jamie took over. The coconservators requested that their authority be extended until at least March 10, because a psychiatric evaluation of Britney was not ready by Wednesday, as expected. The two were ... given the new responsibility for her taxes, while Bryan Spears was named a trustee of his sister's trust. As for that pesky issue of her so-called manager Sam Lutfi, however, the court has not been able to serve him his restraining order yet. But there's always another hearing for that.

Christina Aguilera After Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera was the most popular female singer of the late-'90s teen pop revival. Unlike many of her contemporaries, Aguilera was a technically skilled singer with a genuinely powerful voice, belting out her uptempo dance numbers and ballads with a diva's panache. Born Christina Maria Aguilera on December 18, 1980, on Staten Island, her parents were of Irish and Ecuadorian stock and her father's military career meant the family moved quite a bit during her childhood. They eventually settled in Pittsburgh, PA, where Aguilera began performing in talent shows at age six, with considerable success. She appeared on Star Search in 1988 (though she didn't win) and in 1992 joined the cast of the Disney Channel's The New Mickey Mouse Club, which ... included Spears, future *NSYNC members Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez, and Felicity star Keri Russell.

The New York native said on Tuesday that Britney Spears, Busta Rhymes, 'NSYNC, Run-D.M.C., Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Vanessa Williams, Joan Rivers, Macaulay Culkin, Kevin Bacon and Sister Sledge themselves have all joined the project. The cover tune will be recorded in two sessions — one on Saturday in New York and the other on Sunday in L.A. Rodgers said he's still trying to decide which charities should benefit, though he made it clear he wants the money to help the survivors and families of those killed in the WTC disaster.
On a brighter note, Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline has agreed to let her see their two sons, but only if her mom gives the go-ahead first. Britney’s mom is currently looking after Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James, while Federline attends New York Fashion Week.
Britney Spears - Curious In September 2004, Britney Spears released her first fragrance, "Curious" (a floral scent with vanilla and musk), for which she earned a reported $12 million USD. The fragrance had the biggest debut in sales in history from Elizabeth Arden, breaking the record for first-week gross for a perfume; after one year of sales, the product has netted more than $100 million USD. [7] In addition, the perfume ended up as the number one fragrance of 2004 in department stores, and in 2005, "Curious" was honored by the Fragrance Foundation, naming it Best Women's Fragrance. Following the succes of "Curious," Spears released her next Elizabeth Arden fragrance, "Fantasy," in September 2005.
Best known for her sultry image as a pop superstar, Britney Spears actually began her youthful career as an actress -- the singing came later. Spears was born December 2, 1981, in Kentwood, LA. A mere eight years later, she was auditioning for The Mickey Mouse Club, although she wouldn't be added to the cast for another three years. She spent summers schooling at New York's Off-Broadway Dance Center and the Professional Performing Arts School, and earned a role on the off-Broadway play Ruthless in 1991. A year later, she became a Mouseketeer, and was part of the show from the time she was 11 until she was 13.
