TMZ.com: TMZ has learned Britney Spears' troubles may have little to do with substance abuse. Sources say doctors at her rehab facility think the underlying reason for her trouble may be post-partum depression.

Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib Many sources claimed that Adnan desired to marry Britney Spears. Some gossips said that they were in Mexico to enquire about a quickie divorce for Adnan. Other sources claimed that Britney and Adnan were married in Mexico and enjoyed a honeymoon suite in a hotel there.
PeopleNews reported that Johnny Vaughan has persuaded Britney Spears to appear as the first guest on his new chat show. The American pop starlet would be a guaranteed ratings winner for the new series, due to start in the New Year. According to sources at Channel 4, Vaughan clinched the deal for Britney, 18, to appear on the show, during her trip to London this week. One insider said: 'The details have to be sorted out, but Britney is very keen to do it. Johnny will fly to the States to do the interview if necessary.' A Channel 4 spokesman refused to confirm the guests for the first series which will broadcast three times a week. He said, 'It's too early to say who will be appearing.' But bosses at Channel 4 are hoping that Vaughan, who quits the Big Breakfast at the end of the year, will become the 'new Parky', and emulate the success of the BBC's chat-show veteran in persuading big-name stars to reveal their secrets. However Vaughan, 34, is having problems persuading some celebrities to join the line-up for the new series.
Britney Spears Star of David Ed. note: Praise for Britney's music from an unexpected source. Also worth noting is that Britney has been Number 1 on the Yahoo Buzz, seems like forever. There's no way to get higher than #1 but it is possible to generate 6,500% more interest than usual. That's the story; the new music is the real interest. That's all that matters. But the "personal" as Steve Jones says... generates the sheer numbers.

The L&S report claims that a UK rag was offered Britney's diaries and private emails between Brit and her family for $2 million. Meanwhile, the mag doesn't name the UK tabloid in question, nor do they report having seen any of these supposed emails about which they claim to have details. The "insider" sourced for all of the information in the story is unnamed. And none of the UK tabs are reporting what would supposedly be their own story -- why???
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "The department has been calling Britney trying to set up a meeting with her, so they can check on the kids. The calls started after this recent bout of bizarre public behaviour."
