Britney was an accomplished Gymnast, attending Gymnastics classes until the age of nine and competing in state level competitions. She performed in local dance revues and her local Baptist Church choir. At the age of eight she auditioned for the Disney channel series The Mickey Mouse Club. Although she was considered too young to join the series at that time, a producer on the show introduced her to a New York City Agent. Spears subsequently spent three summers at NYC’s Professional Performing Arts School and ... appeared in a number of OFF Broadway productions, and in 1992 she landed a spot on a popular television show Star Search. At the age of eleven, Spears returned to Disney channel for the spot on the “The New Mickey Mouse Club” in Lakeland, Florida.

Music365.com reported that Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears spent their whole weekend with a big throbbing machine between their legs, according to The Star. Britney had splashed out on a £6,500 motorbike as a romantic present for her bike mad boyfriend Justin from N'Sync. The pair then set off on a romantic tour of California on the new Harvey Davidson XL 1200C sportster. According to a 'pal' Britney bought the motorbike as a thank you for Justin's support as she attempted to launch her film career. Thanks Joakim.

A Britney photo garners anywhere from $250 (for a run-of-the-mill shot of her at Starbucks) to $100,000 or more. The photo agency X17, which has a team trailing her 24-7, estimates that Britney accounts for 30 percent of its revenue: It sold $2.5 million worth of Britney photos in 2007 alone, including $500,000 for its exclusive Bald Britney pics. Competitor Splash News says that Britney accounts for 10 to 15 percent of its business, boosted this year by $200,000 for photos of Britney in a hot tub. All told, Britney probably makes up a full 20 percent of the paparazzi business.

The inevitable seems to have finally happened: X17Online reports exclusively that Britney Spears just tried to commit suicide. No news yet on exactly what is going on, what Britney tried to do to herself or her current condition, but other media outlets report that chaos is currently raging at Brit's Beverly Hills mansion, where two police cars are said to be blocking the entrance to the gated community.
