Britney Spears' record company has denied reports that the pop star is to marry her 'N Sync boyfriend Justin Timberlake. A spokeswoman for Jive Records said tabloid reports that Spears had accepted a marriage proposal from US boy group member Timberlake were "rubbish".

Britney Jean Spears was born December 2, 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana. Spears started performing for anyone in sight at a young age and appeared on the television show Star Search. She then went on to become a member of the Mickey Mouse Club along with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake. Spears got a deal with Jive Records and her debut album Baby One More Time released in 1999 stayed at number one for six weeks. Spears being a hot topic only adds to the urgency of getting tickets to see her on tour.

The site is co-sponsoring a "Britney & Justin Look-alike Contest" through June 15. Britney and Justin look-alikes can submit photos online at PlanetHollywood.com. Visitors to the site cast votes for their favorites. The contestants with the most votes will be flown to Orlando -- where Britney and Justin got their start -- for a dream "date," including dinner at Planet Hollywood, theme park tickets and a publicity photo shoot. "Everybody loves Britney and Justin," said PlanetHollywood.com vice president Shannon O'Quinn.
