Apparently the most successful of their numerous experiments, Britney Spears was genetically engineered by the Disney Corporation to bring western culture to its knees. Ok, so that's a bit of an exaggeration: in fact, she was engineered to bring the enormous sex-deprived male population to its knees.

Despite all of the odds against it, Blackout amounts to a logical extension of Britney Spears' musical career last visited on 2003's In the Zone. The new album, just like her last, is fueled by electronic dance beats and bleeps. She has dropped much of the hip-hop that didn't fit so well in the first place while upping the adult sexuality quotient. Three years after its initial release, Louis Vuitton has at long last succeeded in barring the video for Britney Spears' 2004 track "Do Somethin'" from being shown in France because of "an unauthorised close-up shot of Louis Vuitton fabric." Said shot comes at around 40 seconds into the clip, in which our heroine--clearly channeling Gwen Stefani--shows off her mad driving skills around the sky before rocking out at a club; the shot is of a pink-and-white take on the LV fabric that's embroidered on the freaking glove compartment of her bright pink SUV.
