Since being placed under conservatorship, Britney hasn't made many appearances after dark, but she reappeared last night at Citrus at Social in Hollywood -- with her conserv-o-dad and security in tow. Brit Brit without Sam is starting to become a good look!

Britney unwinds by slipping into a hot bath, lighting some candles and picking up a Jackie Collins Novel. "Every night, I have to read a book, so that my mind will stop thinking about things that I stress about," she said. "I focus on my book. Isn't that crazy?"

At this point, it seems that Britney doesn’t seem to know what she wants as she bounces around from shopping at the wee hours of the night, to missing her legal meetings to enraged fights with people. (Of course, fighting with Lutfi might be a sign of sanity.).
