Britney Spears has been released from the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Centre in LA, according to reports, as she is no longer 'required to stay', as she is no longer considered a risk to herself or others. Unlike the spectacle surrounding her trip to the facility last week, she slipped out quietly, with a private security detail escorting her. The LA police department said they took action last week, with more than a dozen police officers accompanying her, following increasingly aggressive tactics by paparazzi. Reports suggest that she has headed to one of her homes, before seeking further psychiatric treatment.
