Brendan Gaughan has been a supported of AGR Performance Power Steering. He earned the Winston West championship in 2000 and again in 2001 before moving to the Craftsman Truck Series in 2002. His first NCTS win came at Texas Motor Speedway in June. He added another Texas win in September and won rookie of the year honors.

Gaughan to attempt California..in Cup UPDATE: Brendan Gaughan will attempt to qualify for the April 28 Winston Cup race at California Speedway, Orleans Racing general manager Shane Wilson said Monday. Gaughan tested a new Dodge Intrepid at the 2-mile oval last week and Wilson said the team was pleased with Gaughan's lap times. "By the time we left (California Speedway), we were within two-and-a-half tenths of Sterling Marlin's lap times so we felt pretty good with the test," Wilson said. CONCORD, N.C. (January 9, 2008) – Circle Bar Racing selected Brendan Gaughan as the driver of the No. 10 MaxxForce™ Diesel Ford F-150 for the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. With continued sponsorship from International Truck and Engine Corporation of the two-truck effort at Circle Bar Racing, Gaughan will team with 11-year series veteran Rick Crawford. Bryan Berry, who led Gaughan’s truck series effort in 2007, will assume crew chief duties for the No. 10 entry. The announcement was made prior to this week’s Preseason Thunder test session at Daytona International Speedway (Jan. 11 – 13).

Gaughan, who started sixth in a Dodge, took the lead for the final time on the 80th of 100 laps on the 2-mile track after a round of green-flag pit stops. He extended a nine-second advantage to a final margin of victory of 11.477 -- nearly a quarter of a lap -- over Ted Musgrave, who ... drove a Dodge.

Gaughan pocketed $14,700 for the victory after starting fourth in the field. Finishing in second place was Brandon Ash, who collected $9,275 for his efforts. Eighth starter, Scott Lynch, finished third and collected $6,295.
