Brenda Lee: Miss Dynamite
built 639 days ago
Brenda Lee has been a staple part of the music business since the late '50's and is a member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Over the years her music has transcended the genre barriers to be enjoyed by just about everyone, young and old alike. Her powerhouse vocals combined with her infectious personality earned her the nickname of Little Miss Dynamite early in her career. And Little Miss Dynamite she is. With all the different types of music she has performed over the years, her dream has always been to record a Gospel album and the opportunity just never came up. She says that what people may not know is that in the earliest days of her career as a child back in Atlanta, Georgia she sang with the Masterworkers Quartet. So when the chance to record a Gospel album came up, she asked some of her artistic friends to join her and the end result is musical heaven for the listener.
