1. Breakers
   The Amica Insurance Breakers Marathon is Rhode Island's premier marathon! However, its appeal extends far beyond the Ocean State, attracting runners from across the country, as well as inetrantional athletes. Now in its fifth year, this marathon has quickly grown to become a favorite among local runners and visitors alike. With strong community support, first-class race organization, and a beautiful course, the Breakers Marathon continues to grow in popularity.
2. Breakers -- Circuit Breakers
   Breakers are monitored on-line to collect data from each and every operation, as well as to provide the status of control circuits. On-line monitors detect anomalies as they occur, and report these incidences to Operations through SCADA. Monitors provide operations intelligence quickly, automatically, and decisively as input to protection and control remedial schemes.
3. Breakers -- Power
   Generator circuit-breakers are connected between a generator and the step-up voltage transformer. They are generally used at the outlet of high power generators (100 MVA to 1800 MVA) in order to protect them in a reliable, fast and economic manner. Such circuit breakers must be able to allow the passage of high permanent currents under continuous service (6.3 kA to 40 kA), and have a high breaking capacity (63 kA to 275 kA). They belong to the medium voltage range, but the TRV withstand capability required by ANSI/IEEE Standard C37.013 is such that the interrupting principles developed for the high-voltage range must be used. A particular embodiment of the thermal blast technique has been developed and applied to generator circuit-breakers. The self-blast technique described above is ... widely used in SF6 generator circuit breakers, in which the contact system is driven by a low-energy, spring-operated mechanism.
4. Breakers -- Teams
   The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt (1794-1877) established the family fortune in steamships and later in the New York Central Railroad, which was a pivotal development in the industrial growth of the nation during the late 19th century. The Commodore's grandson, Cornelius Vanderbilt II, became Chairman and President of the New York Central Railroad system in 1885, and purchased a wooden house called The Breakers in Newport during that same year. In 1893, he commissioned architect Richard Morris Hunt to design a villa to replacethe earlier wood-framed house which was destroyed by fire the previous year. Hunt directed an international team of craftsmen and artisans to create a 70 room Italian Renaissance- style palazzo inspired by the 16th century palaces of Genoa and Turin. Allard and Sons of Paris assisted Hunt with furnishings and fixtures, Austro-American sculptor Karl Bitter designed relief sculpture, and Boston architect Ogden Codman decorated the family quarters.
5. Breakers -- Circuits
   All circuit breakers have common features in their operation, although details vary substantially depending on the voltage class, current rating and type of the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker must detect a fault condition; in low-voltage circuit breakers this is usually done within the breaker enclosure. Large high-voltage circuit breakers have separate devices to sense an overcurrent or other faults. Once a fault is detected, contacts within the circuit breaker must open to interrupt the circuit; some mechanically stored energy within the breaker is used to separate the contacts, although some of the energy required may be obtained from the fault current itself. When a current is interrupted, an arc is generated - this arc must be contained, cooled, and extinguished in a controlled way, so that the gap between the contacts can again withstand the voltage in the circuit. Finally, once the fault condition has been cleared, the contacts must again be reclosed to restore power to the interrupted circuit.
6. Spring Break Vacation -- Spring Breakers
   The history of spring break is long and South Padre Island has long been a part of that history. South Padre Island, Texas is considered one of the hottest spots in America for college Spring Break excitement. Coca-Cola Jam Fest, MTV, and other well-known companies regularly throw extravagant parties for over 100,000 students at a time. Over the past ten years, South Padre Island has become the premier U.S. spring break destination. Hundreds of thousands of college students migrate south to this island in the Gulf of Mexico in search of wild parties, bikini contests, crazy nights and laid back days. The warm tropical breezes make the palm trees fan and cool down the days making the sleepy, compact island of South Padre come alive with Spring Breakers in search of sand, sun, and fun.
7. Sulfur -- Sulfur Hexafluoride
   Sulfur forms a wide variety of compounds with halogen elements. In combination with chlorine it yields sulfur chlorides such as disulfur dichloride, S2Cl2, a corrosive, golden-yellow liquid used in the manufacture of chemical products. It reacts with ethylene to produce mustard gas, and with unsaturated acids derived from fats it forms oily products that are basic components of lubricants. With fluorine, sulfur forms sulfur fluorides, the most useful of which is sulfur hexafluoride, SF6, a gas employed as an insulator in various electrical devices. Sulfur ... forms oxyhalides, in which the sulfur atom is bonded to both oxygen and halogen atoms. When such compounds are named, the term thionyl is used to designate those containing the SO unit and the term sulfuryl for those with SO2.
8. South Padre Island -- Miles
   South Padre Island is 2 miles off the eastern edge of Texas and less than 30 miles north of the Mexican border. At 34 miles long and a half mile across at its widest point, the island is not your ordinary beach destination.
9. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards

10. Ryan Gosling
    Ryan Gosling is set to star opposite Rachel Weisz in Peter Jackson’s feature adaptation of best-selling tome “The Lovely Bones” for DreamWorks. Jackson will begin lensing in October in Pennsylvania and New Zealand. Based on Alice Sebold’s novel, storyline revolves around a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family–and killer–from heaven. Girl must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal. Gosling will play the girl’s father; Weisz plays the mother.
