Brandon Whitt: Races
built 642 days ago
LAST YEAR HERE: A year ago at Memphis Motorsports Park, Brandon Whitt captured the checkered flag driving the No. 38 Red Horse Racing Tundra. Whitt started from the pole, ran among the race leaders the entire race and passed Ron Hornaday, Jr. on the final lap en route to the victory. Whitt crossed the finish line just ahead of second-place David Reutimann's Tundra.

Brandon Whitt knew that he wanted to be a professional racecar driver even before he climbed into a go-kart for the first time at age 12. He actually started racing motorcycles at age 10 and drove go-karts from age 13 to 16 before turning his attention to stock cars.

"The more I think about where this team's future lies, the more I think we need a playoff or a Chase in the truck series, too," said truck racer Brandon Whitt. "I know some people have said they don't want our series to go that way, but when you see the response they have received in the Cup series with it you have to think it would work with the trucks too.
