Starr, Whitt and Howard are available for interviews with media, and will appear at the ESPN Zone in the Inner Harbor from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to sign autographs for fans. Fans and the media will have the opportunity to drive simulators against the drivers. Also in attendance at ESPN Zone will be Kelly Sutton, a Baltimore area-resident who is one of only two females running the full NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule. A NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series show truck will be at ESPN Zone as well.

Werner will sponsor the #38 Werner Ladder Ford F-150 of driver Brandon Whitt beginning with Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway. Werner will serve as primary sponsor on the Truck fielded by Clean Line Motorsports for nine remaining 2004 events. Werner will ... serve as associate sponsor for other races this season.

Earlier in the day, Whitt recorded his first career pole. He ... led the first laps of his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career. The win and the pole follow his previous best career performance, a sixth-place finish at Kentucky Speedway earlier this season.
