Brad Pitt
built 92 days ago
If Brad Pitt has been looking a little rough around the edges since he started his globe-trotting adventures with Angelina Jolie - there's a good reason. He lost his hair's "best friend" - his hairdresser Chris McMillan. Jennifer Aniston is close friends with Chris and she always brought her boyfriends to get haircuts from him. Chris kept Brad looking great until the marriage busted up. Jen asked Chris not to keep Brad as a client and Chris cooperated. Now Brad goes to Angelina's hairdresser.

Sporting the golden-boy glow of Robert Redford and the jawline of Kirk Douglas, Brad Pitt is one of the leading movie heartthrobs of the 1990s and 2000s. Pitt grew up in Missouri and studied journalism in college before dropping out to become an actor. He scored as the sexy scoundrel hitchhiker in the 1991 movie Thelma and Louise (with Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon), a small role that nonetheless catapulted him to leading man status. Soon known as a movie star who didn't always have to take the starring role, Pitt co-starred with Tom Cruise in Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire (1994), with Bruce Willis in Twelve Monkeys (1995) and with Harrison Ford in The Devil's Own (1997). His other films have included: Se7en (1995, with Morgan Freeman), the brutal urban psychodrama Fight Club (1999, with Edward Norton), and Spy Game (2001, with Robert Redford); the spoofy ensemble film Ocean's Eleven (2001, with George Clooney) and its sequels Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007); the big-budget star vehicles Troy (2004, with Pitt as the weak-heeled Achilles) and Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005, opposite Angelina Jolie); and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007, with Pitt as Jesse James).

Humanitarian Brad Pitt doesn't have any plans to run for office, but he thinks his friend George Clooney would make a good politician! "George should do it! He'd be quite good," Pitt tells Parade magazine. He would ... vote for another famous Hollywood dad, should he enter politics. "I think Ben Affleck should run," Pitt said.

In mid-January, 2006, Brad Pitt bought Angelina Jolie a larimar ring. Here’s what MSN.com had to say about it: Together, they’re worth tens of millions of dollars, but when it came time for Brad Pitt to slip a ring on Angelina Jolie’s finger, he went the bargain route. In a new cover story that delves deep “inside their love” (eww), People reveals that during a recent shopping trip in the Dominican Republic, the rapidly swelling Angelina admired a gold band made with larimar, a local blue volcanic gemstone. “[Pitt] said, ‘It’s very pretty — do you want it?’” the shopkeeper recalls to the magazine. When Angelina, 30, answered in the affirmative, Brad, 42, coughed up a whopping $48 and she popped it on her finger. OK, so it’s not exactly a knuckle-buckling diamond engagement ring, but with a baby on the way (due date estimates range from the spring to the summer) and a judge’s official thumbs-up to rechristen Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1, with the surname Jolie-Pitt (Brad’s adoption bid is still winding its way through court), an aisle-walk seems almost inevitable.

The tabloid world shifted its rotational axis when cinema shooting stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie joined in an intergalactic orbit. Why scan the heavens for celestial bodies when grainy paparazzi images of them could be found in the supermarket checkout line? It was like a new planet had been discovered. A name was given to this constellation: Brangelina. With such striking bone structure and toned forms, who would suspect that skin lesions would encircle this pair like so many moons? Follow in Galileo's steps and you too can see the true nature of this galaxy, no telescope required.
