Candidates begin with "an officer's equivalent of boot camp," he said. "Then they would put them through flight training." The U.S. has a long-standing agreement with Saudi Arabia -- a key ally in the 1990-91 gulf war -- to train pilots for its National Guard. Candidates are trained in air combat on several Army and Navy bases. Training is paid for by Saudi Arabia.

[A]s with the Army and Air Force, your recruiter will give you a list of what you should or should not bring with you to boot camp. Unlike the Army and Air Force, the Navy won't store your excess civilian clothing until the end of boot camp. After your first uniform issue, you'll be given a choice of sending your civilian clothing home (at your expense) or donating them to charity. Therefore, as far as civilian clothing is concerned, you should pack very, very light. Again, as with the Army and Air Force Basic Training, if it ain't on the list, don't bring it. If its on the "Do Not Bring" list, then definitely don't bring it.

While it is possible to install a 64-bit (x64) Windows operating systems on Macs with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, the Windows x64 OS encounters difficulties with driver support in Boot Camp. The basic hardware used in most of these Macs have drivers available for various OSes, including x64 versions of Microsoft Windows. However Apple-specific hardware such as the built-in iSight camera, Apple's Bluetooth circuit card, Apple's trackpad (on laptops) as well as software enhancements like Apple keyboard mapping and the screen brightness utility packaged with Boot Camp are written solely for the 32-bit versions of Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista and ... those hardware features do not work in the x64 versions of Windows. In mid-January 2008, it was discovered that the Mac Pros that had been updated around that time included 64-bit driver support. These drivers can also be used on the late 2007 Macbook and possibly other current or recent Macs[5]
