Boeing: 787S
built 629 days ago
Picture One month from today, Boeing will broadcast the Premiere in nine different languages to viewers across the globe using direct-to-satellite and Webcast technologies. The 787 Premiere potentially will reach 100 million or more viewers, making it one of the largest corporate TV broadcasts in history.
Boeing initially priced the 787-8 variant at US$120 million, a low figure that surprised the industry, and it has since been increased twice. As of 2007, the list price was US$146–151.5 million for the 787-3, US$157–167 million for the 787-8 and US$189–200 million for the 787-9.[10]

"I really enjoyed my trip to Boeing today -- it was more than I expected," Varness said about his first trip to the tour center. "The factory tour really gave my grandchildren something special they will remember forever." Boeing began offering tours of the 747 factory in 1968. The factory tour has grown over the years to include a glimpse of all four widebody jetliners including the 767, 777 and the newest widebody, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Hazy believes Boeing will decide on a version of the 787-10 that best meets the needs of both camps. He thinks Boeing will decide late this year or early next on just how big to make the 787-10.
