Blockade

Blockade operations by the United States and Britain during World War II were an essential part of military strategy, supplementing air raids which struck directly at the industrial economy of their enemy. During the Korean War, United Nations naval forces blockaded the Korean coast.
Although condemned by rebellious governments across the galaxy, the Blockade proved an intelligent response. However, in an attempt to take supplies to one of the outlying stations, a freighter from Atzerri targeted Solo with its turrets. Acting quickly on her brother's behalf, Jaina Solo disabled the weaponry. Jacen ordered her to finish the freighter off as it retreated, but she refused to do so. Even though his actions were justified in the Rules of Engagement, Jacen shocked the Jedi Order and his family when he fired on the Atzerri freighter, destroying it, and then stripped his sister of her rank for refusal to obey orders. The Atzerri government were outraged at the action and declared it an 'act of war'. The Alliance blockade remained in place, expanding to the other four worlds in the Corellian system.
Told without voiceover, explanatory subtitles or any other contextualizing material, Russian docu Blockade looks unlikely to show up on the History Channel as it stands now. Nevertheless, this absorbing account of the 900-day siege of Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) during WWII, told entirely through re-edited archive footage with freshly made sound, reps poignant viewing as it focuses on the daily lives of the city's inhabitants.

Blockade is a maze arcade game released by Gremlin in 1976. Each player moves their character around leaving a solid line behind them, turning at 90 degree angles. To win you must last longer than your opponent before hitting something. First person to hit something loses. The game ended after one player chalked up six wins.
Blockade is often used in defense, when the blocking piece prevents the opponent’s pieces from advancing. While a Knight or a Bishop make a great blocking piece, a Queen is usually the worst. In the following example, young Capablanca brilliantly broke his opponent’s blockade and went on to win the game.
The bioactive molecules in Blockade with Virablock seek out viruses, bind to them, and create a coating around them. This coating is like a fence around the virus that blocks its ability to attach to and enter cells.
