Formerly the drummer for Blink 182, Box Car Racer, Transplants and currently of +44, Barker is one of the busiest musicians in rock n roll. He has ... joined the industrys premier spinner DJ AM for a residency at the Pure Club at Caesars Palace and select dates throughout the country after a hugely successful debut performance at KROQs Inland Invasion, where Barker and AM took their joint musical skills public. Barker is also the founder of his own recording label, La Salle Records, clothing line, Famous Stars and Straps, and most recently the star of his own critically acclaimed reality show on MTV, Meet the Barkers, which will return in January for a second season.

As giant fireballs erupted and thunderous booms echoed throughout the Marcus Amphitheater, Blink 182 jumped onto the stage. The threesome thrashed around like retarded monkeys running from one end of the stage to the other, only momentarily stopping to spit out their lyrics to the crowd. The three chord cliche driven "Anthem Part II" opened the night followed by the similarly tired "Rock Show." With no break or pause in-between songs it was hard to tell where one song started and the next finished.

Crafting nerdy pop-punk, Blink 182's brand of music plays up its dorky aspect. Putting a premium on jokes and silly themes, the band helped to blur the lines between outrageous punk antics and from-the-heart indie rock nerdishness.

Drawing heavy influence from Green Day and blink-182 early on, pop-punk quartet All Time Low formed in the suburbs of Baltimore, MD, in 2003 around singer/guitarist Alex Gaskarth and guitarist Jack Barakat. The two soon added bassist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson to round out their energetic pop-punk sound and rowdy live show, which often included silly string and beach balls. Honing their skills between homework and other teenage commitments, the guys managed to tour across the East Coast and South during school breaks. They released the four-song EP The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End through the local label Emerald Moon in 2004 and followed up with a full-length, The Party Scene, a year later.

Confirming recent speculation that something was amiss in the Blink-182 camp, the band today announced it was going on an indefinite hiatus "to spend some time enjoying the fruits of their labors with loved ones." In a statement, the trio added, "While there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again, no one knows what tomorrow may bring."

The entry of Blink-182 ended the German-Alaskan War and brought an end to the pointless persecution of millions of enslaved Alaskans. They were released and each given a Burger Kings' Angus Meal by the German government. Blink-182 was named after its German creator Gorgof Blink. It was his 182nd submarine ever created, and the first one to actually work. Just before it reached Alaska, Blink-182 was punctured by scraping into a piece of the missing city of Atlantis lying on the Ocean floor and sank. Alaskans won the war without winning one battle thanks to Gorgof Blink and his crappy submarines.
